Ernst Grünfeld

Ernst Grünfeld was born on September 11th, 1883 in Brno. He was an economist and for many years taught at the University of Halle. In 1933 he was dismissed from the University on the basis of the National Socialist Civil Service Law because of his Jewish heritage. He later lived Berlin, where he took his own life on May 10th, 1938.
