In 2012, a book from the library of the St. Gerlach monastery near Valkenburg in the Netherlands could be restituted.
The volume was returned to the legal successor, the religious community of the Missionary Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary in Mainz.
It is unclear how the book was acquired by the Zentral- und Landesbibliothek Berlin. The object was located in unprocessed stock of the Berlin City Library (Berliner Stadtbibliothek).
