Social Democratic Party of Germany
Stamp of the SPD Archives, overstamped "gelöscht" ("deleted")
Since 2011, 14 books from various looted libraries of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD), including one book from the private library of Friedrich Engels, could be returned to the legal successor, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Bonn.
The various provenances include the SPD archive, the library, the party school, the Social Democratic Bureau for Rhineland and Westphalia in Düsseldorf and the Social Democratic Reichstag faction.
