Louis Friedländer

Louis Friedländer's exlibris

In 2011 a loose exlibris of Louis Friedländer could be returned.

Louis Friedländer operated a fur company in Berlin for the production of jackets and coats. After his death in 1933, the company was sold under duress of the Nazi regime. His five children were persecuted as Jewish and deported and murdered except for Kurt, his son born in 1899.

The ex-libris was part of the exlibris collection of the Berlin City Library, the route of access into the collection is unclear.
