Lodge "Zur Einigkeit" Frankfurt am Main
In 2017, a book from the library of the St. John’s Lodge ‘Zur Einigkeit’ in Frankfurt am Main could be returned.
The St. Johannis Lodge ‘Zur Einigkeit’ was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1742. The lodge was dissolved and expropriated by the Nazis in 1935. The lodge was re-established between 1946 and 1948.
After the end of the war in 1946, the book was added to the collection of the Berlin City Library (Berliner Stadtbibliothek, BStB). It was supplied by the Salvage Office (Bergungsstelle), Salvage Order No. 15, Depot of the Reich Security Main Office (Reichssicherheitshauptamt, RSHA) in Eisenacher Straße in Berlin.
