Stamp of the Institute for Sexual Science
In 2011, a looted book from the library of the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (Institute for Sexual Science) was given to the Magnus Hirschfeld Gesellschaft e.V. on a permanent loan.
Magnus Hirschfeld (14 May 1868 - 14 May 1935) was a doctor, sexologist and one of the leading pioneers of the homosexual movement. The Dr Magnus Hirschfeld Foundation, Institute for Sexual Science, which he founded in 1918 and from whose library holdings the book originates, was dissolved by the Nazis in 1933.
