Hedwig Pintus

In 2015 a book from the library of Hedwig "Hey" Pintus could be returned.

Hedwig Pintus was born on 2 January 1900 in Berlin. She worked as a secretary and last lived in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. Hedwig Pintus was persecuted as Jewish and escaped to London in 1939 to join her sister Elisabeth Jaffé. Elisabeth Jaffé had already emigrated from Berlin to London in 1934.

The book was purchased from the 'Zintl' antiquarian bookshop by the Berlin City Library in 1951. Further indications regarding the path of the book could not be found.
