Albert Dresdner's exlibris

In 2020 six periodical volumes and three loose ex-libris from the possession of Albert Dresdner could be returned.

Albert Dresdner was born on 1 June 1866 in Breslau. He was a historian, art critic, writer and art historian. He was persecuted as a Jew in National Socialist Germany. In 1933 he was forced to retire on the basis of the law for the restoration of professional civil service. Albert Dresdner died in Berlin on 22 December 1934.

His daughter Birgit was able to emigrate to the USA and thus survived the Holocaust.
