Semi Meyer

Semi Meyer was born on 14 January 1873 in Kröben, Prussia. In 1899, he married Adele Meyer, who was born on 30 December 1869. He studied medicine, became a neurologist and practised as such in Danzig. Semi and Adele Meyer, née Meyer, had a daughter, Hildegard Marie, who was born on 22 March 1906 in Danzig. Semi Meyer died on 30 November 1937 in Danzig. His widow, Adele Meyer, was deported from Danzig to the Theresienstadt concentration camp in December of 1942 and murdered there on 8 January 1943. Hildegard Marie Meyer was able to flee to the United States in 1939 and thereby survived the Shoah.
