Bruno Cohn
Bruno Cohn was born on 3 January 1879 in Tuchel. He became a physician and practised as a specialist in ENT diseases in Berlin. In 1911, he married Helene Loewenstein in Berlin. She was born on 14 December 1872 in Koscian. As far as is known, the couple had no children. Helene Cohn died in Berlin in 1926.
Dr Bruno Cohn was persecuted as Jewish in Nazi Germany. On 24 October 1941, he was deported from Berlin to the Litzmannstadt ghetto, where he was murdered on 20 June 1942.
As far as is known, Bruno Cohn had four siblings:
Olga Kuttner, née Cohn (1876-1942), was also murdered in the Litzmannstadt ghetto.
Siegfried Wilde (1877-1968) survived the Shoah and emigrated to England.
Ernst Cohn (1881-1939) died in Bromberg.
Sophie Kuttner, née Cohn (1884-1942), was also murdered in the Litzmannstadt ghetto.
