Alfons Lazarus

Alfons Lazarus was born on 22 February 1889 as a son of Julius Lazarus (ca. 1859 - 1919) and Helene Cohn (1864 - 1942) in Sangershausen. He was a salesman in Berlin and married to Toni Friedländer, who was born on 9 June 1893 in Züllichau. Both were persecuted as Jews in National Socialist Germany. They were deported to Ghetto Litzmannstadt in 1941 and murdered in Kulmhof concentration camp in 1942. Alfons Lazarus' mother Helene was murdered in Treblinka concentration camp in 1942.
